One of the biggest handicaps that occurs with both trained and untrained artists is a kind of reverential attitude toward making things "beautifult, acurate, and perfect". What is missing in this approach is a spontaneity or playful attitude with regard to materials and process. There is a lack of experimentation. In this aproach the final product becomes more important than the process. [...] Let's make the experience the thing. What if you were completely liberated from the final product?
